Recently, at KPCA University, an inspiring story of faith and overcoming captivated the academic community. Fran, a student, shared in a moving video how a class on spiritual gifts taught by Professor Léo transformed a desperate situation into a remarkable example of healing.
The story began when Fran's younger brother, who dreamed of becoming a professional football player, suffered a serious injury during a match. With the ligament torn and the ankle broken, he needed immediate surgery. The medical prognosis was not encouraging: an estimated recovery period of between six months and a year, with the real possibility of never playing football again.
The family's already complicated situation worsened when the first doctor's appointment revealed that the boy's condition had deteriorated due to a poorly applied cast. It was at that moment that Fran, inspired by the lesson on spiritual gifts, decided to act. Contacting her mother in Brazil by phone, she encouraged her to anoint her brother's ankle with oil and together they prayed for healing.
Even in the face of the doctors' discouraging initial opinion, Fran remained firm in her faith. She continued to pray and trust in a complete recovery. The outcome surprised everyone.
Within just a few weeks, Fran's brother returned to the doctor, who was surprised to find his ankle's complete and inexplicable recovery.
“I always knew that God was about to reveal Himself in my brother's life, demonstrating His love and power,” Fran said in the video. She highlighted the importance of lessons on spiritual gifts, which motivated her to live her faith in a practical and impactful way. “University has been a balm for my soul and has borne fruit beyond what I could have imagined,” he added.
Fran's testimony not only inspired her colleagues, but also highlighted the positive impact of the spirituality and self-knowledge courses offered by KPCA University. The student concluded her narrative by encouraging others to share their own stories of faith and miracles.
